Everything you need to know about GATEKEPT — for curators and subscribers.

For curators

You keep 80% of every subscription. GATEKEPT takes a 20% platform fee. Payouts are sent automatically on the 1st of every month for the previous month's earnings.

Payouts go out on the 1st of every month for the previous month's earnings. So if someone subscribes in March, you'll see that money in your April 1st payout.

Yes. You can update your price at any time from your dashboard. Existing subscribers keep their current rate — the new price only applies to new subscribers going forward.

Yes — you can create as many collections as you like. All collections are included under your single subscription price. Your subscribers get access to everything you publish.

Yes. You can pause or delete at any time. Subscribers lose access immediately when you delete, so we recommend giving them a heads up first. There are no automatic refunds issued.

No — it's completely free to create an account and publish collections. You only start earning when people subscribe. We only make money when you do.

Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. When you sign up you'll be prompted to connect your bank account. Funds are transferred directly — GATEKEPT never holds your money.

For subscribers

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We don't offer partial refunds.

Full access to all of the curator's collections — every item, link, and commentary. You'll also get access to everything they publish in the future, for as long as you're subscribed.

Yes — you can see a blurred preview of the collection before you subscribe. You'll get a sense of what's inside without seeing the actual items or links.

All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. GATEKEPT never sees or stores your card details.

You can cancel anytime — no questions asked. We're also working on activity indicators so you can see how recently a curator has posted before subscribing.

Yes — each curator has their own separate subscription. You can subscribe to as many as you like, each billed independently at that curator's chosen price.
